Configurable kits built from real WooCommerce products
Kit Configurator by Yindle adds options to a WooCommerce product without hidden surcharges. Every priced option is a real product and appears as its own cart line. SKU, price, stock, weight, discounts, tax class, refunds and restocking therefore remain under WooCommerce ownership.
Use five field types: choice buttons, radio buttons, checkboxes, image choices and image cards. A kit can use multiple steps with previous and next navigation, conditional groups and configurable minimum, maximum and default quantities. Reusable option sets can apply groups by tag or category. The link between a main product and its components keeps the configuration together, synchronizes quantities and removes dependent lines in a controlled way. Customers can edit a configuration from the cart.
A clear path from choice to order
- Define groups and connect every purchasable option to a WooCommerce product.
- Let the customer choose and show a server-calculated price estimate based on WooCommerce subtotals.
- Let the cart determine the final amount, shipping costs, discounts and additional fees.
- Store an unchangeable configuration record with its ID, revision, labels, SKUs and quantities.
The product-page estimate is for information only and does not change the cart. Pricing rules for promotions, BOGO or customer roles are not applied on that page; the real cart remains authoritative. SKU export and sharing a configuration require SKUs for the base product and its components. Historical kits from v1.0.14 without a stable configuration ID must be configured again when reordered.
Installation and licensing
The stable release is v1.1.0. Declared requirements are WordPress 6.0+, WooCommerce 8.0+ and PHP 8.1+. The local release check used WordPress 7.1, WooCommerce 11.1 and PHP 8.4.18. Use the matching Share Cart 2.0release for shared kits and test themes, pricing rules and stock on staging. The license variant supports standalone WordPress websites; Multisite has not been verified as a supported path.

Is the product-page price final?
No. It is an estimate for the selected kit. The cart calculates shipping costs, discounts, additional fees and active dynamic pricing rules definitively.
Can options be managed as separate products?
Yes. That is the core model: WooCommerce owns the individual lines and their stock and tax data.
