Before you start
Is the plugin right for your store?
- WordPress 7.1+, PHP 8.4+ and Easy Digital Downloads Core 3.7+.
- A Mollie account, a secure website (HTTPS) and the payment methods available in your account.
- One digital download per order, quantity one, in EUR. Free does not include subscriptions.
- Check the complete payment flow on a staging site in Mollie Test mode first.
- Pro supports ongoing annual subscriptions in EUR. Monthly billing, trials, sign-up fees and a fixed number of instalments are not supported.
- Annual subscriptions with standard VAT are supported. Unverified VAT numbers and reverse-charge VAT are held before Mollie creates a payment.
- For annual subscriptions, enable Country and State/Province in EDD Downloads > Settings > Payments > Checkout and confirm that customers enter their billing location, even when taxes are disabled.
- Plugin settings are in English. WordPress Multisite is not supported.
