\u201cIn stock\u201d sounds simple, but customers may attach different expectations to it. Is the item physically present, available to order immediately, or also ready to dispatch? WooCommerce stock settings and product page wording must express the same meaning. Check the entire route from product setting to customer expectation.<\/p>\n

Distinguish stock from delivery in your explanation<\/h2>\n

An item's availability does not automatically indicate when it will arrive. Preparation, processing or other operational steps may be required. Do not turn a stock message into a delivery promise unless the store can actually substantiate that connection. Place additional delivery information where it affects the decision.<\/p>\n

The WooCommerce product settings<\/a> include stock management, notification thresholds and stock visibility settings. Check what customers actually see in the store setup being used. An admin setting alone does not tell you how the theme or an extension presents the message.<\/p>\n

Test the important states<\/h2>\n

Ask who manages stock data and who determines the public wording. With a WooCommerce\u2013AFAS integration<\/a> stock may come from another source, but its meaning for customers still requires an explicit agreement. A synchronised number does not fully explain the delivery process.<\/p>\n

Avoid hard-coding availability in individual product descriptions when it can change daily. A sentence at the bottom of a description may remain after the product setting has changed. Use static wording to explain the process and current data for the changing state, according to the chosen setup.<\/p>\n

Review wording around low stock too. Customers may interpret a visible small quantity as pressure to order quickly. Base such messages solely on the intended current data and check what the displayed quantity means. Ask employees to review the message<\/h2>\n

Ask a salesperson or service employee what a customer can reasonably expect after reading. Compare that with what the organisation can fulfil. Record differences between \u201cavailable to order\u201d, \u201cin stock\u201d and \u201cready to dispatch\u201d. Then use these terms consistently on product pages and in relevant confirmations.<\/p>\n

Also check whether an old page view still shows a previous message.
