MedusaJS becomes interesting when your sales process has clear rules that are difficult to accommodate in a fixed store setup. Think of product selection that must first establish the intended use, or an order that involves several substantive decisions. That difference must be concrete. Simply wanting to change everything later is a weak basis for choosing a platform.<\/p>\n

Start with the process that actually differs<\/h2>\n

Map out one order from the customer's first enquiry. Mark where an employee applies product knowledge, assesses a combination or adds information. Then describe which steps are necessary and which exist because of the current software. Choosing Medusa to reproduce an unnecessary detour precisely makes that detour part of new custom software.<\/p>\n

In a fictional store for technical workspaces, the customer first chooses an application and then suitable components. Some combinations are only appropriate for a particular use.
